What this guide covers

Most failed purchases come from guessing the code from a badge. This checklist keeps the order in the right order.
Use it with any listing on this site — photographed stock or Uncategorized related units.
Fitment

1) Read the engine code on the listing. 2) Compare to the car’s plate or VIN reply. 3) Check sump and flywheel notes.
If any of those three disagree, stop and message the shop before payment.
What the workshop checks
Photos of the stamp, underside, and turbo or intake. Mileage only if recorded for that donor.
Warranty terms and shipping line in euros must be clear on the invoice.
How to choose a listing
When the checklist passes, order the unit in the photos — not a cheaper neighbour with a similar name.
Warranty
Eligible engines carry a warranty of up to 12 months after a correct installation by a workshop. The warranty covers eligible internal failure. It does not cover a mismatched fitment, a dry start, the wrong oil, or damage caused after the crate is opened.
Shipping
Crane crates from Hamburg is a flat 299,00 €. The engine is packed for freight and delivered to the address on the order. A forklift or an engine crane is required at delivery. The shipment is arranged to the destination the buyer provides.
